Just over one week has passed since our winter concert, In This Moment, and we are still processing the sheer electricity of this concert series. Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your support makes what we do possible and we are so grateful to have been able to share each musical moment with you!
CELEBRATE #GIVINGTUESDAY 2019
November 2019
Mark your calendar! December 3, 2019 is #GivingTuesday!
The 18th Street Singers will be participating in honor of our 15th Anniversary and have set a goal of $1,500 for Giving Tuesday.
It's been 15 years of us challenging what you think of as "traditional" choral music as we find lesser-known gems and prioritize amplifying the voices, composers, and themes that are often missing at classical music concerts. So for Giving Tuesday 2019, we want to focus on supporting one of the core audiences to that mission: Students.
Every $10 donated to the 18th Street Singers on Giving Tuesday will underwrite one student ticket, which are provided free of charge at all 18th Street Singers concerts. We typically provide about 120 free student tickets each year. Whether your budget allows you to underwrite the cost of 1 ticket or 10, each ticket helps to further our mission of bringing choral music to new audiences (and students of all ages).
