Thank you for signing up to audition!

We have two different audition locations: on weeknights, we'll be at First Trinity Lutheran Church, right by the Judiciary Square metro stop (on the Red Line). If you've selected a Saturday or Sunday audition slot, your audition will be held at 1700 Kalorama Rd. NW.

Our music director and several group members in attendance will ask you to do some or all of the following: warm-up exercises, sight-reading, listening exercises, singing a one-minute solo in any genre that shows off your voice (we will cut you off after one minute!), and singing an excerpt of "O Magnum Mysterium," linked HERE. You'll sing from where your part starts until the end of the PDF. No need to memorize "O Magnum," but please be familiar with the part that you typically sing. This excerpt will help us learn about your choral tone, even if your solo isn't a choral piece. Being asked to do more or fewer of those items isn't an indication of whether we like you! The whole thing should take about ten minutes.

If you are running early or late the day of your audition, please just come to the location and we'll fit you in when we can. No need to notify us. Please contact auditions@18thstreetsingers.com with any questions you may have.

We can't wait to meet you!
